The perspectives.festival is committed to creating a harassment-free unconference for everyone—regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, height, age, ethnicity, or religion. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Participants who violate these rules may be sanctioned or excluded from the conference at the discretion of the organizers.

Harassment includes any intentional behavior that is perceived as threatening or disruptive—including behavior related to gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, ethnicity, or religion. This includes: sexual displays in public spaces, targeted intimidation, stalking, harassment, intrusive photography or recording, repeated disruption of presentations or events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwanted sexual attention. Participants who are asked to cease harassing behavior must comply with this request immediately.

If someone behaves in a harassing manner, the perspectives organizers may take appropriate action—ranging from a warning to exclusion from the event. If you are being harassed, witness someone else being harassed, or have other concerns, please contact a member of the organizing team immediately.

The Barcamp organizers are happy to help contact security personnel or the police, offer an escort, or provide other forms of support so that those affected can feel safe during the event. We greatly appreciate your participation.

Drugs and Alcohol Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Alcohol may be consumed at designated, event-related social gatherings. We recommend carpooling or arranging alternative transportation if necessary. Please drink responsibly and do not drive under the influence of alcohol!
